This is Cary Chandler, Principal of Triton Central High School. I want to remind everyone that on August 22, we will be releasing our students at 10:55am. Each student will be provided with a sack lunch free of charge during dismissal. Morning Blue River students will NOT attend Blue River while afternoon Blue River students will be expected to attend. All Blue River students will be expected to attend their normal TCHS classes on this day. If you have any questions please contact our main office at 317-835-3000.

This is a Reminder that our 2022-2023 Returning Student Registration is now OPEN! If you have not completed your child's registration it is important that you do so as soon as possible. Parents will use their PowerSchool Parent Portal to complete registration for returning students. Please visit the parent powerschool website at https://nwshelby.powerschool.com and clicking on the link labeled Returning Student Application on bottom left of the menu bar. If you have multiple students, each will have a tab at the top of the page and each student registration will need to be completed individually. The registration deadline is Friday, July 22nd so that we can plan bus routes and finalize schedules for this coming school year. If you are experiencing problems with registration, you can call the Technology Hotline Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 317-480-1298.

2022-2023 Calendar Revision
Due to legislation passed by the General Assembly in the 2022 Legislative Session, NWCSD will make the following revisions to the 2022-23 School Calendar:
Staff Professional Development Days scheduled for August 22, September 19, February 20 and May 12 will include 3 hours of in-person, on-campus instruction in the morning and 3 hours of asynchronous virtual instruction in the afternoon.
Students will be provided lunch on each day.
The updated NWCSD 2022-23 calendar is available for download from the district website (www.nwshelbyschools.org) Building specific information will be provided later this summer from your student’s Building Principal.
Our 2022-2023 New Student Registration is now open. This is for all NEW Students to our district. Information can be found on our website at https://www.nwshelbyschools.org/page/new-student-application. Our 2022-2023 Returning Student Registration will be open later in July.

Ivy Tech Community College Summer Bridge Program
This is just a friendly reminder to all students ... the deadline to sign up for summer school is this Friday, May 20th, by 3 pm. Please see the guidance office if you have any questions or concerns.
The Girls Soccer call out meeting is TOMORROW (Tuesday, May 17th) @ 6:00pm in the High School MPR. Any athlete thinking about playing should plan to attend.
